A few days before the most decisive elections in the history of the Republic, the press is NOT vigilant as it should be.
Because almost all politicians lie - and omit - they are always to be distrusted. And the most suspicious should be journalists.
But, analyzing the Brazilian press today, we have come to the conclusion that the balance depends much more on the side of the powerful than on the side of the nonconformists.
Do not be deceived.
The gear will continue to spin to crush the truth.
Government advertising is a type of press release.
Think about it: who cares to cover up the facts?
Malicious people have links everywhere, including in the press.
Under the pretext of spreading their achievements, concrete or not, ministries, secretaries and state governments spend billions to buy consciences and promote politicians.
You need to be aware of politics behind the scenes, what goes on between the lines, what the powerful are up to.
That's where the truth hides.
Depending on the president-elect, Brazil runs the risk of failing in recent years.
We know that it is not this future that you want for your family, and I do not want to see ours as well.
But do not count on the old press model to be your voice.
In general, it has its own interests, which are not clear.
Because of this lack of clarity, we are led to deduce that the press will never get into a big dog fight.
Between essays and powerful ones, retribution of kindness is far more common than you think.
Inertia befits the old press model.

The government spends sumptuous advertising money (read taxpayer's money) in big newspapers and magazines.
Often, state-owned companies occupy double-page or back page ads, which are the most expensive spaces in print media.
Apart from explicit advertising, there are researches and publications that, until very recently, showed no constraint in treating the inmate as presidential candidate.
Although Lula was innocent in the case of the triplet (it is only an exercise of reasoning ...), condemned in second instance can not compete and final point.
It is in the Clean Records Law, sanctioned, who would say, by the Lula government in 2010.
Thief is a thief. The question is:
Is the law valid for all or are some above it?
If the law holds for everyone, treating the convicted as a candidate only helps people in bad faith manipulate the unprotected electorate.

Pelo fato de que quase todos os políticos mentem — e omitem —, sempre se deve desconfiar deles. E os mais desconfiados deveriam ser os jornalistas.
Mas, analisando a imprensa brasileira de hoje, chegamos à conclusão que a balança pende bem mais para o lado dos poderosos do que para o lado dos inconformados.
Não se iluda.
A engrenagem continuará girando para esmagar a verdade.
A propaganda governamental é um tipo de mensalão da imprensa.
Pense bem: a quem interessa encobrir os fatos?
Gente mal-intencionada possui ligações por toda a parte, inclusive na imprensa.
A pretexto de divulgar as suas realizações, concretas ou não, ministérios, secretarias e estatais gastam bilhões para comprar consciências e promover políticos.
Você precisa ficar atento aos bastidores da política, ao que acontece nas entrelinhas, ao que os poderosos estão tramando.
É aí que a verdade se esconde.

O governo gasta verbas suntuosas de publicidade (leia-se dinheiro do contribuinte) em grandes jornais e revistas.
Não raro, empresas estatais ocupam anúncios de página dupla ou contracapa, que são os espaços mais caros da mídia impressa.
Fora a publicidade explícita, há o caso de pesquisas e publicações que, até bem pouco tempo, não demonstravam constrangimento em tratar o presidiário como candidato à Presidência.
Ainda que Lula fosse inocente no caso do tríplex (é apenas um exercício de raciocínio…), condenados em segunda instância não podem concorrer e ponto final.
Está na Lei da Ficha Limpa, sancionada, quem diria, pelo governo Lula em 2010.
Ladrão é ladrão. A pergunta é:
A lei vale para todos ou alguns estão acima dela?
Se a lei vale para todos, tratar o condenado como candidato só ajuda pessoas de má fé a manipularem o eleitorado desprotegido.
E o que faz a imprensa?
Segue o embalo de reportar intenções de voto para Lula quando deveria abordar temas contundentes, ainda que incomodasse determinadas autoridades.
Por mais que a imprensa tente passar a imagem de independente, prefere se omitir a pisar o calo dos poderosos.
Existem excelentes profissionais, equipamentos de última geração e logística integrada. Mas você realmente acha que algum veículo de massa está a fim de arrumar animosidade com o governo?
Tome por base o escândalo envolvendo Dias Toffoli, revelado pela revista Crusoé ao final de julho último.
O presidente do Supremo Tribunal Federal recebe de sua mulher uma mesada de R$ 100 mil, religiosamente depositados num banco de Brasília que não chama atenção. (Detalhe: a mulher do ministro do STF é dona de um grande escritório de advocacia de Brasília que alcançou o sucesso depois que o marido chegou ao topo do Poder Judiciário.)

O montante total desses repasses, no mínimo atípicos, já atingiu R$ 4,5 milhões. Além disso, a conta do magistrado é movimentada por um ex-bancário de confiança.

No meio jornalístico chamamos isso de “pauta-bomba”.
Invariavelmente, quando uma pauta dessas explode, toda a imprensa repercute.
Foi assim quando estourou o escândalo do Mensalão, em 2005.
Mas a mesada de Toffoli, revelada pela Crusoé, não teve o mesmo tratamento.

Especialmente quando se tem uma campanha presidencial em andamento e uma rede de interesses por trás de cada passo.
Embora você busque sempre as melhores informações, está quase impossível ter acesso à notícia completa, com uma interpretação contextualizada e isenta de vieses o suficiente para balizar as suas decisões.
Seja qual for o partido, o parlamentar ou o político corrupto da vez, você precisa de um conteúdo capaz de expor a verdade com clareza.
A imprensa no Brasil está acomodada, ao contrário dos políticos desonestos que não param de inventar expedientes para benefício próprio.
